The TDP encountered a humiliating defeat during general polls, 2019. The total number of MLA seats were confined to 20. According to reports, most of them are all set to defect the party soon. Looking into the winning prospects of the party in 2024's elections, the chances appear to be quite bleak.

According to the previous track records, TDP swept election battles only with the alliances. The party never could get the victory contesting alone. On the other hand, Power Star Pawan Kalyan led Janasena has got a significant tie up with the national party, BJP. For time being, Megastar Chiranjeevi denounced politics and makes himself busy in politics.

At this framework, the TDP is indulging in nonstop suicidal attempts. Recently, Chandrababu is learnt to have ordered Balakrishna to abuse Chiranjeevi indirectly. And today, when Chiranjeevi was about to meet AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Amaravati, TDP prompted Amaravati casteist landlords to make ruckus in favour of Amaravati capital in a desperate attempt to garner the attention of the people. As expected, Chiranjeevi paid no heed of those landlords.

In the meanwhile, the most biased TDP casteist news channel CBN Chandrajyothi conducted a silly debate in which a soft-natured senior mega fan and many other loud-mouthed TDP activists participated. All of them including the anchor made useless and baseless arguments in favour of the TDP.

But then, literally, TDP and its dabba media made suicidal attempt with Chiranjeevi. If at all, Chiranjeevi takes Balakrishna and TDP conspiracies issues seriously, he will encourage the Janasena and the BJP's allied forces and will be campaigning for their victories. If at all he decides to join the BJP, the situation will turn even more pathetic to the TDP. In such scenario, TDP may not win even a single seat in general elections, 2024.
