Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has showed symptoms of fever and sore throat. He will undergo coronavirus test tomorrow. “Kejriwal is down with fever, sore throat, dry cough and will undergo coronavirus test tomorrow,” informs Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Saurabh.
Arvind Kejriwal has reportedly cancelled all his meetings since Sunday afternoon and has also isolated himself. Last seen on Sunday evening during an online media briefing, Kejriwal on Sunday announced the Delhi government's decision to make all Delhi government and private hospitals exclusive for residents of the state during the coronavirus crisis.
Delhi has recorded a total of 28,936 coronavirus cases while 812 people have died so far. Meanwhile, coronavirus cases in India have gone up by almost 10,000 on Sunday.
Earlier, a cabinet minister in Uttarakhand and two ministers in the Maharashtra cabinet had tested positive for the disease. Among political leaders across the world, United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson had tested positive and subsequently recovered from covid-19.
