Balakrishna Kept Egos Aside, Why Not Vijay Deverakonda?

Youth crazy star Vijay Deverakonda might have thought of grabbing all the credit of helping middle class people in the corona lockdown. Besides contributing 1 Cr to employment program, he donated 25 lakhs to middle class relief fund. Had he donated the same amount of Rs 1.25 crore to PMRF or CMRF, he would have become the biggest contributor among second rung heroes and even national media would have appreciated his generous gesture.

Apparently, Vijay Deverakonda was confident enough of getting huge donations from fans and industry people for his The Vijay Deverakonda Foundation. Though fans offered some donations, the fund is insufficient to fulfill all the requests. Vijay Deverakonda yesterday announced that the foundation won't be taking any new requests for now and requested donors to lend helping hand by donating for the cause. It seems, nobody is interested in contributing for Vijay's foundation.

"Why would anyone donate to Vijay's foundation when there are many other established foundations to help the needy. Moreover, due to financial crunch, people are not ready to give donations. If Vijay really wanna help the poor or the middle class people, he should have directly donated groceries to them or should have donated the amount to CCC which is helping the daily wage workers in the time of crisis. When star like Balakrishna who has differences with Chiranjeevi donated to CCC, besides contributing to CM relief funds of the Telugu States and also to Prime Minister relief fund, why can't a budding hero like Vijay Deverakonda who still is in initial stages of his career keep his egos aside," question observers.
