Director Luring Chiru With Pan India Film

Director Puri Jagannadh is planning to make most of his future ventures as pan India films. He is already doing one with youth crazy stay Vijay Deverakonda. The film tentatively titled Fighter had completed nearly 50 percent of the shoot. Next schedule will commence in Mumbai after lockdown is lifted. Ananya Pandey is the leading lady in the film billed to be a sports drama. Bollywood star producer Karan Johar joined hands with Puri to make this film as Pan India Film.

Meanwhile, utilising the lockdown, Puri is working on scripts of his next films. To fulfill his long dream of directing megastar Chiranjeevi, Puri is penning a perfect commercial entertainer. He previously missed a chance to direct Chiranjeevi in the latter's comeback film. But, for some reasons, it didn't materialize. Now, Puri is making sure Chiru shouldn't say no when he listens to the script.

What's more, he in order to impress Chiru is readying a script that will have Pan India appeal. Given Puri is a die hard fan of Chiranjeevi, he is incorporating mass appealing elements. But, the project may not take off in near future as Chiru committed to do other projects.

But, if Puri can impress with his script this time, chances are high for Chiru to begin the project later next year or early in 2022.

Chiranjeevi who is presently doing Koratala Siva's directorial Acharya has lined up films with Bobby, Sujeeth and Meher Ramesh. It had to be seen whether Puri gets nid from Chiru who is also keen to do Pan India films.
