Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna is known for his powerful high octane mass action entertainers. He has a huge fan following among masses and more often than not, he comes with monotonous mass entertainers.

Sometimes they click when loaded with sentiment, romance, powerful dialogues, etc like in Simhaa, Samara Simhaa Reddy, Legend, etc but backfire and give shocks like Ruler, Dictator, Lion, etc.

Balakrishna got three disaster shock in the form of NTR biopic and Ruler last year and is trying his best to come out of it. He is banking on Boyapati Srinu to show his power with another mass entertainer. Expectations are high as Balakrishna and Boyapati scored hits like Simhaa and Legend. But Boyapati failed with Vinaya Vidheya Rama.

In the midst of all this, popular banner Sithara Entertainments which scored hits like Premam, Jersey, and Bheeshma planned to remake Malayalam hit Ayyappayum Koshiyum and contacted Balakrishna for the role of a powerful police officer.

Despite their efforts, Balakrishna refused to give in and rejected the offer outright. The makers are planning to cast Rana in the role of retired Hawaldar. Now the makers are planning to cast Ravi Teja in the role rejected by Balakrishna. No one knows why Balakrishna rejected it.

But many feel, had Balakrishna done this role, his fans and movie lovers would have got thrilled as it would have been a novel attempt. But people are of the opinion that Balakrishna prefers monotony, compared to novelty.
