Megastar Chiranjeevi, himself, donated Rs.1 crore for film workers and took an initiation to raise funds for workers through CCC Manakosam. Young Rebel Star Prabhas stands topper among the film celebs pledging Rs.4.5 crore. Many other heroes, actors and technicians exhibited their compassion towards the needy pledging high donations. * Pawan Kalyan stood first to announce more than a crore donation. He pledged Rs.2 crores to the CMRFs of Telugu states and PMRF. Thereafter, many other celebs pledged one or more than one crore donations.
* Mega Power Star Ram Charan, himself, said he was inspired by Pawan Kalyan to donate Rs.70 lakh. Afterwards, Ram Charan pledged Rs.30 lakh more donations to film workers.
* Pawan Kalyan appreciated every celeb of Tollywood who pledged donations to fight against coronavirus. He released press notes of appreciation.
* Pawan Kalyan came to know that around 50 fishermen from Srikakulam were stranded at Chennai harbour owing to lockdown. Straightaway, learning their plight, the Janasena chief wrote a letter to the Taml Nadu CM appealing to take proper care in providing them food and other services. The TN CM was very prompt in taking the needful action and informed Pawan Kalyan about the government's action through a tweet. And this whole issue made Telangana governor Tamilisai impresssed. She lauded Pawan Kalyan's efforts to save AP fishermen.
