Hot Hunk Rana Daggubati endeared himself to all doing versatile roles in various languages. He floored all with his macho looks and towering personality. Rana created a sensation as Bhallaladeva in Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali. He is now getting ready to entertain movie lovers with Aranya, Telugu version of Hindi film Haathi Mera Saathi.

On the eve of Rana completing a decade long journey in the film industry, Daggubati family revealed the secret on how Rana who failed X standard became an actor with impeccable diction and dialogue delivery.

Venkatesh, Rana's uncle said, "I never expected Rana to become an actor". Rana revealing the secret said "My father is a mechanical engineer. Venky Babai is an MBA. Both are well educated. However, I couldn't clear X. I felt that I was without any goal unable to find out what I should do in life. Charan and Bunny are my friends from my childhood. They used to have clarity over their career. Only I know that I love cinema. I understood that cinema could be the profession and one can live an entire life in films. I started VFX business".

Rana as a VFX supervisor worked for more than 85 films and won the Nandi Award for the best VFX effects for Mahesh Babu's Sainikudu which released in 2006. He won a national award for Bommalata produced by him along with his friend.

Rana got trained in Stunts School after deciding to become an actor. He even went to various countries and got trained in various skills. He mastered Telugu language watching Sr NTR films.
