Mega Star Chiranjeevi's upcoming entertainer under the direction of Koratala Siva is driving fans and movie buffs crazy. The makers planned to reveal the film title in a grand and extravagant manner. However much to the shock of all Chiranjeevi revealed the title in a simple manner during O Pitta Katha pre-release event. Many felt that Chiranjeevi by mistake and by the slip of tongue revealed the film's title as Acharya.

However, inside talk is Chiranjeevi came up with a masterstroke and revealed the title. In the recent past titles of the films resulted in huge controversies. Some filmmakers were forced to change the title at the last minute. Filmmakers and producers faced problems as few registered interesting names as titles though they have no intention to come up with films at the last minute become a stumbling block. Chiranjeevi's last film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy faced last-minute tensions over the title.

So Chiranjeevi decided to put an end to all controversies by revealing the film title as Acharya. Some say Chiranjeevi tried to claim 'Acharya' title as their own and sent signals to put an end to last-minute controversies. Already leaks are out that the project is out to expose the irregularities in the Endowments Department. The makers felt that political opponents may target the film and try to create one or the other controversy.

Already Chiranjeevi supported the three capitals in Andhra Pradesh, while his brother Pawan Kalyan is opposing the three capital formula. So opponents have been threatening Chiranjeevi in the name or organizing protests. So Chiranjeevi, many feels might have decided to crush all controversies by revealing the film title Acharya long before the release date.

Chiranjeevi is playing two roles in the film while Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde will be seen in brief roles.
