Box Office: Feb Ends On Hit Note

Out of numerous films released in the month of February, Tollywood witnessed only couple of hits. Nithin’s romantic comedy Bheeshma is turning out to be a super hit, while Vishwak Sen’s recent release Hit produced by Nani under Wall Poster Cinema is also expected to become a decent hit.

Sharwanand’s Jaanu, a remake of Tamil hit 96, was the first release in February. Though the film received mixed to positive reviews, it ended as a disaster. 3 Monkeys also released on same day and ended up as an utter flop.

Vijay Deverakonda’s much delayed project World Famous Lover directed by Kranthi Madhav released on Valentine’s Day to decent expectations. But, the film with outdates content and poor making disappointed audience completely. Although opened on good note with respectable figures on day one, the film stood as double disaster.

Nithin’s Bheeshma directed by Venky Kudumula released with good expectations. Living up to the expectations, the film won appreciations of critics and audience alike. The film has already entered into profit zone in all the territories and it is expected to end as one of the biggest hits for Nithin.

The month ends on hit note with last release Hit starring Vishwak Sen is doing decent business at box office. The film made on decent budget has garnered good collection in its first weekend.
