Ever since the crane mishap occurred during the shoot of Kamal Haasan's Indian 2, there were wide speculations that the director Shankar was also severely injured apart from 10 workers who sustained with injuries. Since, the director is not inclined with the social media, there was no update from the director's side.
However, it's now evident that the director is absolutely safe and he was also one among them who narrowly escaped the mishap.
Meanwhile, Shankar visited the hospital where the victims are being treated. The director grieved with the death of three efficient workers.
Lyca Productions pledged Rs.50 lakhs each the families of the deceased while Kamal Haasan announced Rs.1 crore each.
