Sarileru Neekevvaru: 3 Actors Disappointed

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s recent outing Sarileru Neekevvaru is expected to end as profitable venture for producers and buyers. But, the Anil Ravipudi directed film which somehow disappointed with regular content may not become the true blockbuster as predicted by the makers.

Massive promotions, pre-release buzz, Mahesh Babu’s stardom and Anil Ravipudi’s form helped the film to rake record openings. In fact, the film did wonderful business in its first week. But, it started slowing down in second week. Especially, the film’s collections dropped down drastically in overseas.

Coming to the actual point, Sarileru Neekevvaru has disappointed three actors. As is known, Jagapathi Babu was original choice to play the antagonist in the film. Even after the actor allotted call sheets, the makers replaced him with Prakash Raj who disappointed with monotonous acting.

Bandla Ganesh who took some break from acting made comeback with this film. He was part of the much-hyped lengthy train episode. Nonetheless, the episode got negative feedback. So, the makers deleted Bandla Ganesh’s track. The actor is said to be miffed with the decision.

Sarileru Neekevvaru marks comeback of Vijayashanthi after 13 years. There was lots of hype around the character. But, it was big disappointment to see the way she was presented. Except for last episode, Vijayashanthi didn’t get much scope. Although she hasn’t directly expressed her discontent, she is said to be unhappy for not showing the way Anil had promised her to.

Anil Ravipudi who doesn’t have single flops needs to take better care for his next films in terms of content and actors selection!
