Tollywood Industry Hits In The Decade

Tollywood witnessed several industry hits in the decade from 2010 to 2019. Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredi helmed by Trivikram Srinivas released in 2013 broke the records set by Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Magadheera in 2009.

Attarintiki Daredi industry record was safe for two years until the release of Baahubali: The Beginning that starred young rebel star Prabhas. The SS Rajamuli directed film was a sensational hit in other languages as well.

Then a new term non-Baahubali was introduced. Super Star Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu directed by Koratala Siva was the first film to create non-Baahubali record.

Then, Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 broke Srimanthudu’s non-Baahubali record.

On the same year, Rajamouli and team came up with Baahubali: The Conclusion to create nationwide record. The Rajamouli’s magnum opus was not just an industry hit in Tollywood, but across the country. The record is still unbroken.

Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam that was directed by Sukumar released in 2018 ended as non-Baahubali industry hit. The record is unbroken for now.
