The release dates of Darbar, Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo were confirmed some time ago as January 9, 11 and 12 respectively.
However, all the three films must be ready to face a huge threat. The second week of every January, which is called pre festive period, is merely an unseason for films. As people are busy purchasing clothes and other related things, they remain stay at markets but don't look at film theatres. Of course, they set festival dates to watch all Sankranthi films.
As a result, Superstar Rajinikanth's Darbar is expected to be hit by poor openings as the film's release date is set as January 9 which is too early to that of festive season. Mahesh Babu's Sarlieru Neekevvaru stands next in victims list. Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is going to be the least affected film as the festive season would start just in two days, after the film's release.
Kalyan Ram's Entha Manchivaadavuraa, however, can avail the advantage of festival day's release that falls on January 15.
