Mega Star Chiranjeevi's son in law Kalyaan Dhev failed to set the screens on fire with his debut film Vijetha, though the film was named after Chiranjeevi's yesteryear classic Vijetha.

He is now pinning all his hopes on his next. Recently reports came that his second film titled Super Machi which was launched with much fanfare under the direction of Puli Vasu went into a standstill mode as the makers did not like the chemistry between Kalyaan Dhev and heroine Rachita Ram. The makers earlier replaced Rhea Chakravarthy with Rachita Ram in the last minute.

In the meantime, it is coming out that Kalyaan Dhev is turning sprinter in his next which will be directed by Sai Kishore Macha who made his debut in 2015 directing Allari Naresh in James Bond.

Kalyaan Dhev will be focusing on his physical appearance and he is currently working hard in the gym to get the look of a sprinter. Sources reveal that Kalyan Dhev at once gave a green signal to the project after listening to the story. Buzz is Chiranjeevi gave his nod even before Kalyaan Dhev came into the picture.

The film is based on real-life incidents and the sports drama will not have any family drama or romantic angle which may distract from the sports genre.
