It's yet another earth-shattering decision of AP CM Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy. The CM, during the closing hours of Assembly's winter sessions on Tuesday, promulgated the possibility of three capitals in AP in the future. The CM said it would be the replica of South Africa as the latter has three capitals such as Bloemfontein, Pretoria and Cape Town.

The heart of every person of AP was bleeding when former CM Chandrababu Naidu proclaimed a 3-crop yielding Amaravati land as AP's capital city. It was alleged that the former CM chose the capital just on some caste biased factors.

A big number of entrepreneurs of the same caste such as Balakrishna's viyyankudu, Lingamaneni Ramesh, Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, Yalamanchili Sivalinga Prasad and many more purchased thousands of acres of Amaravati land for a very economical price. And their details were revealed during the assembly sessions on Tuesday.

On the other hand, experts warned then government that  Amaravati was the flood prone area and it doesn't suit for huge constructions. Having paid a deaf ear, CBN and co. went ahead with the capital and wasted thousands of crores for temporary constructions.

Meanwhile, YS Jagan said Vizag could be an executive capital, Amaravati should be a legislative capital and Kurnool would become a judicial capital. In such case, secretariat and all offices will shift to Vizag, while assembly and council will remain to be in Amaravati. Kurnool will get high court and all other subordinate courts.

If at all AP CM's prediction on three capitals is proved right, there will be decentralization and which will lead development in all areas equally. It's better the government would stick to their decision despite agitations from opposition parties.
