500 Cr Betting On Sankranthi Outings

The race is heating up for 2020 Sankranti star war as the countdown has already started. Ahead of Sankranti, many filmmakers locked the releases of their crazy films on Dec 13, Dec 20, Dec 25 etc. This is involving heavy betting at the box office.

However, none can match the shocking revelations about Sankranti StarWars. According to market analysis, a whopping Rs 400-Rs 500crs betting is expected to happen over 2020 Sankranti star wars at the box office. Around five films are releasing during the festival season.

Sankranti war starts with Super Star Rajinikanth's Darbar to release on Jan 9th. The film is expected to do around Rs 80crs business. Though huge craze is there for Rajini's film in Kollywood, owing to duds, the craze is very less in Telugu.

Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun are locking horns with Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramloo. Allu Arjun will have the first strike at the box office coming on Jan 11 while Mahesh Babu takes over on Jan 12.

Analysts predict Mahesh's Sarileru Neekevvaru to generate Rs 150crs business and the same is the case with Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramloo. Both the films are doing good pre-release business increasing hype on the projects.

Kalyan Ram is testing his luck with Entha Manchi Vadavura and he has the capacity to generate Rs 20 to 30crs business. SO if all the films do well at the box office, they can collect a gross double the amount at the box office.
