Khaidi Sans Songs, Heroine

Songs are crucial for any film. However, Karthi’s next flick Kaithi releasing in Telugu as Khaidi will not have single song. What’s more, the film will not even have a female lead. Still, makers of the film call it as a family entertainer. Why?

“Hero is a Life sentenced prisoner, who comes out of the jail and faces the outside world, how he faces that night and it happened to be is the one liner of the story,” informs the film’s producer SR Prabhu adding, “If you see that way, in ‘Khaidi’ we never needed a heroine at any point of the story.”

The film is the journey of a prisoner who comes out of the jail after 10 years to see his 10 years old daughter for the first time. This point hints that the film will have adequate amount of emotions.

In fact, father and daughter emotion makes Khaidi a family entertainer. More importantly, there’s a valid reason for every fight in the film.

The film directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj will hit the screens tomorrow.
