Actress Paid Remuneration After 4 Decades

Yesteryear actress Sharada needs no introduction. She not only starred in Telugu but also in various other languages. She with her exceptional acting talent won Urvasi award more than once. She even entertained in the roles of mother and grandmother.

Sharada also got huge recognition in Malayalam too. She got a pleasant shock when a producer gave her remuneration after 40 years. VV Antony produced Sharada's Pushyaragam in 1979. Sri Vidya too starred in the film.

The film did not perform as per expectations and the producer suffered huge losses. Due to this, he couldn't pay full remuneration to Sharada. Though he planned to pay her later, he couldn't do it due to his financial situation.

With his financial situation getting stabilized, the producer decided to pay Sharada her remuneration. After knowing that Sharada is coming to Ernakulam Town Hall, Kochi to participate in an event, he met and after interacting with her, gave her the remaining remuneration and heaved a sigh of relief.
