Darbar Film under Threat!

Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's Peta was released for this year's Sankranthi in Telugu states. However, the film couldn't resist the heat of other Telugu releases like lVinaya Vidheya Rama, F2 Fun and Frustration and NTR Kathanayakudu. 

Apparently, Rajinikanth is repeating same blunder for upcoming Sankranthi. His new film Darbar's release  has been confirmed to Sankranthi. The makers are planning to release the film on January 10 itself so as to let the film mint good money for two days before the release of two big ventures Ala Vaikunthapuramulo and Sarileru Neekevvaru. 

Whatsoever, Darbar's chances appear to be bleak to get bailed out of the threat of straight Telugu films. 

Darbar is being directed by AR Murugadoss under Lyca Productions. Nayantara and Nivetha Thomas are playing female leads. Anirudh Ravichandar is composing music.
