Digital Media Revolution, Tough Times For Films

A few years back, any film release used to be like a festival. Fans hungama about their star sometimes used to leave everyone surprised. Producers used to plan their releases in such a way to cash into the movie lovers craze during the festivals.

People used to throng to theatres during holidays and festivals. Theatres used to display Houseful boards. But of late these scenes are not seen anywhere and the josh is missing even during the festivals.

The films which got blockbuster talk and have a star-studded cast too are not finding people in the theatres. Though there are many reasons for that, few of them include the Digital Media Revolution which enables people to watch movies through Amazon Prime, Netflix, G5 etc from the home.

Genex movie lovers are enjoying watching movies on their smart phones and laptops. It is surprising that people are not showing interest in watching the films made with 100s of crores.

Of late Web series revolution too is fascinating people and so movie lovers are showing stars to the STARS with many right-thinking people wondering if this situation persists will the film industry survive.
