The ruling YSRCP's latest aggressive move betokens the possible shift of the state's capital from Amaravati.

The AP minister of municipal administration Botsa Satyanarayana embroiled a controversy stating that the flood-prone Amaravati couldn't be a capital city. Citing the report of Siva Rama Krishna Botsa made it clear that Amaravati is not a right place to be the capital.

Furthermore, Botsa said that lot of public money is being wasted for Amaravati constructions. "The expenditure could have been much lesser had the buildings were built in some other place," Botsa affirmed.

Finally, Botsa threw a bomb stating the government is yet to decide whether Amaravati would be continued as AP capital.

It's now being speculated that the capital city might be shifted to Kadapa. In such case, it could be considered a suicidal attempt of YSRCP.
