Not many people mightn't know why Stylish Star Allu Arjun's film was titled 'Ala Vaikunthapuramulo'. In fact, there is a depth in confirming the title of the film.

'Ala Vaikunthapuramulo' are the starting lines of the most popular poem from Maha Bhagavatham's Gajendra Moksham episode. Following is the full poem.

Aala vaikuntha purambulo nagarilo namoolasaudhambu da,

pala mandaravanaatharamrutha sarah prantendu kaantopa lo,

thpala paryanka ramavinodi yagunaapannaprasannundu vi,

hwalanaagendramu paahi paahi yana guyyalinchi samrambiai.

Meaning: When Lord Vishnu  was in vaikuntha, in his main palace, there was a beautiful Mandara (flower said to bloom in heaven) garden in side his palace. He was strolling with his consort Godess SriLakshmi,  n the lake adjacent to the garden, on a beautiful bed decorated with lotus flowers and enjoying his time.

Then he hears the prayer from Gajendra, the elephant who is in the clutches of Makara, the crocodile, who is invoking Lord Vishnu's name to save him and he is the only saviour he knows. Lord Vishnu immediately immediately gets up and moves.

It remains to be if there is a connection between Gajendra Moksham's poem and Stylish Star's film.
