Of late, filmmakers are celebrating fake success meets, despite the talk their films receive from critics and audience alike. Actually, there’s no wrong in it given stopping promotions so early will kill their film. In fact, grand promotions will sometimes help an average film becoming a super hit.

Energetic Star Ram’s recent release iSmart Shankar which was released last month is turning out to be a blockbuster, though the film received mixed talk from critics. Besides, Ram’s mass avatar, Puri mark dialogues and heroines’ glamour, vigorous promotions from the makers helped the film to rake big numbers at box office, especially from single screens.

Actually, Ram went on vacation after the release of the film. But, Puri, Charmme, Nidhi Agerwal, Nabha Natesh and other core team promoted the film robustly. It’s really a rare phenomenon for a film becoming a hit, despite hero skipping promotional activities.

Meanwhile, Vijay Devarakonda’s latest outing Dear Comrade also received divide talk and the film directed by Bharat Kamma collected good numbers in its first weekend. But, the negative talk being spread in social media and the low key promotions from the team played spoilsport.

Not just the makers, but also Vijay Devarakonda gave up so early, so that Dear Comrade slowed down completely from first Monday itself. “Had Viajy and team promoted the film aggressively like how he took part in promotions before the release, Dear Comrade’s feat would be different,” opines analyst.

Vijay Devarakonda who feels himself to be a fighter has accepted the defeat so early which is surprising his ‘rowdy’ boys as well.
