Telugu Audience Completely Reject Them

Nearly half a dozen films, including dubbed films hit the screens yesterday. But, no single film has accumulated even decent numbers on day one. Even star hero Suriya’s NGK witnessed underwhelming response from critics and audience alike. Although the Sri Raghava directorial is off to great start in Tamil Nadu, it is not up to the mark in Telugu states.

Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi fame Vishwak Sen’s Falaknuma Das, remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam movie Angamaly Diaries, got better reports among the other releases. But, the film’s collections are dismal.

The response for Prabhu Deva and Tamannaah’s horror comedy Abhinetry 2 at box office is no different. Flop result of first part and poor promotions from the makers killed the chances of the film, though Tamannaah oozed some oomph.

After Maharshi, no Telugu film could do even decent business at box office. Going by the response for the new releases this week, none of them is going to sustain at box office at least for a week days.
