Hot Topic: Reddy’s Rowdy Attitude

Telugu filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga created a sensation across the nation with his very first film Arjun Reddy. The path-breaking film starring Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey became a commercial hit as well. Now, the film is being remade in Tamil and Hindi languages with different actors.

While Tamil hero Vikram’s son Dhruv is the lead actor in Hindi remake, it’s Shahid Kapoor who is reprising Vijay Devarakonda in Hindi version. Buzz is quite high on the Hindi version titled Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. 

The main reason for this is the film is directed by the original maker Sandeep and its teaser got immense response. Kabir Singh theatrical trailer released yesterday to overwhelming response. During trailer launch, Sandeep exhibited his ‘rowdy’ attitude and slammed a journalist.

Many feel that, Vijay Devarakonda adopted rowdy attitude from his director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and the director is allegedly behind the actor’s controversial speech during Arjun Reddy audio launch event.

There were reports that, Sandeep Reddy had written some of the scenes based on his and his college friend’s life experiences. The entire football ground scene had happened in director’s life. Since the director himself is the writer, inadvertently his attitude and mannerism inflicted on the protagonist, opine observers.

Sandeep is not an easy going person who doesn’t spare criticism against him. During Kabir Singh trailer launch, a journalist asked a question for which Sandeep was seriously telling his version. When Sandeep observed that the journalist was not listening to him, the director turned furious and stated, “Hey, question poocha sunraa nahee… (Hey, you asked the question, but not listening to my reply). Kiara Advani and Shahid who sat next to him left in splits. This video is now going viral in social media as Sandeep’s supporters are sharing it in social media platforms.

Apparently, Bollywood is unaware of Sandeep Reddy’s attitude and his style of counter attack. Next time, they would be cautious with him. As is known, Kabir Singh is slated for release on June 21st.
