Super Star Mahesh Babu who made his Kollywood debut with Spyder has huge craze in Tamil Nadu as well. In fact, his film Bharat Ane Nenu is the highest Telugu grosser in Chennai city with the life-time gross of around Rs 1.71 Crores. So, his next outing Maharshi is eyeing to break Mahesh’s previous record to take top place.
But, seems like, this may not be an easy task for Maharshi, as the film will not be screened in few theaters owing to non-co-operation from local distributor. “Maharshi release in Chennai city may affect owing to issues between distributor and exhibitors. GK Cinemas and Vettri Theatres have decided not to screen the movie in any of their theatres,” informs a source.
If this issue will not be resolved at the earliest, it will affect the collections of the film in Chennai city. In fact, Mahesh Babu fans in Chennai are eager to watch Maharshi on first day and first show. Hopefully, distributor will resolve the issues very soon.
Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh played lead roles in Maharshi directed by Vamsi Paidipally.
