Manchu Vishnu who longtime back entertained with films like Denikaina Ready and Doosukeltha is out of action for quite some time. Vishnu is facing a big question mark over his recent posts on social media triggered speculation about his political entry.
Vishnu announced that he will soon turn father for the fourth time. In the meantime many started wondering what happened to his much talked about film Voter. The film directed by Karthik Reddy did not see the arc lights for many months.
It is now coming out that all is not well between Vishnu and director Karthik. Reports are coming out that Vishnu is demanding that Karthik should pay him Rs 1.5crs. Voter story has similarities to Collection King Mohan Babu's hit film Assembly Rowdy. Karthik indeed penned the story adapting Assembly Rowdy screenplay.
Everyone knows that Assembly Rowdy was made on Mohan Babu's own banner. Manchu Vishnu entered into an agreement with Karthik that he should give him Rs 1.5crs as he penned Voter story based on Assembly Rowdy story and screenplay.
Vishnu's close friend Vijay Kumar Reddy revealed that Karthik is now not honoring the agreement expressing his inability to pay Rs 1.5crs. But Karthik Reddy's version is completely different. He said, “Voter story has no similarities to Assembly Rowdy. However Vishnu himself insisted on adapting Assembly Rowdy screenplay and forced me to sign on the agreement for Rs 1.5crs. He later even demanded credit for the story and screenplay and unable to bear the torture gave credit to Vishnu in the screenplay. Now he is trying to destroy my career"
It has to be seen what Vishnu's take on the entire controversy. Many are left wondering what is all the controversy about Voter for which there is no craze and business.
