Shalini Pandey might not have expected that, her debut film Arjun Reddy would become a path-breaking one. The film starring Vijay Devarakonda and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga went on to become a sensational hit at box office.

Shalini Pandey as her second installment signed to play a key role as Savitri’s friend in the legendary actress’s biopic Mahanati. That film too became a huge commercial hit. Shalini was then seen in a small cameo in NTR Kathanayakudu, which is her only flop in Telugu. In fact, she played a small role as Sowcar Janaki in the film and nobody remembers her.

Shalini Pandey played Kalyan Ram’s love interest in 118 which hit the screens yesterday to good response from all the corners. Although the actress did not get enough scope to perform, she is now called as lucky charm. Made on moderate budget, 118 is likely to become a commercial hit.

However, Shalini Pandey is failing to pick right roles and films. Except for Arjun Reddy, none of her other films are neither performance oriented nor glamorous ones. She needs to cautious while signing her next ventures in Telugu.
