It Was Balakrishna’s Proposal: Krish

Ever since its launch, NTR Biopic, undertaken prestigiously by Balakrishna has been facing lots of setbacks. Firstly, director Teja walked out of the film owing to reasons best known to him. Though buzz was positive and even the first part NTR Kathanayakudu got encouraging reports from critics, it failed to attract movie lovers which resulted in the film becoming a disaster.

NTR Mahanayakudu trailer was released to poor response. Meanwhile, everybody is slamming Krish for making the film in two parts. They claimed that, it was Krish who proposed to make NTR Biopic in two parts. However, Krish clarified on it saying, it was Balakrishna who told him to make the film as two part series.

“Even before I joined NTR Biopic, there was this proposal to make the film in two parts. Balayya garu suggested highlighting NTR cinema life in one part and political career in other part,” said Krish who is busy promoting Mahanayakudu.

Speculations are rife that, Balakrishna directed nearly 40% of the film and all is not well between the Nandamuri hero and the director. Condemning the reports, Krish clarified, “Don’t know who is spreading such rumors. There’s absolutely no truth in them. We maintain good friendship with each other. I can confidently say that, Mayanayakudu will be above the expectations level.”

Mahanayakudu is due for release tomorrow. It has to be seen how the second part performs at the box office!
