Sai Dharam Tej's brother Panjaa Vishnav Tej is making his debut teaming up with Buchchi Babu, a protégé of Sukumar. Recently there were speculations that the film has shades of Mega Star Chiranjeevi's Aradhana which released in 1988. Those who looked at the posters felt that it has shades of Ram Charan-Sukumar's hit film Rangasthalam. Now, it is learnt that the film is Rangasthalam's rejected version.

It is known that Buchchi Babu Sana was one of the writers for Rangasthalam. The story of Vaishnav Tej’s film is one of the lines discussed for Ram Charan's Rangasthalam. It was one of the ideas generated when the makers decided that Ram Charan's film will have village backdrop.

It is known that before Rangasthalam story was developed, filmmakers planned to show Ram Charan as a fisherman. But they set aside that story and prepared Rangasthalam story.

Buchchi Babu developed the rejected version of the fisherman planned for Ram Charan's Rangasthalam and Sukumar liked it. Mythri Movie Makers came on board to produce it. Mega Star Chiranjeevi too gave green signal to the storyline.
