Suriya’s Film Inspired By Telugu Hit

Kollywood actor Suriya is known for his versatile performances and is popular for doing different genre films. Suriya who last year entertained with Gang, remake of Bollywood hit Special 26, is now busy with his upcoming entertainer Kappan, a multi starrer with Malayalam star Mohan Lal under the direction of KV Anand. Suriya and KV Anand earlier entertained with films like Veerudokkade and Brothers and none can forget the director’s debut venture Rangam.

The film Kappan is allegedly inspired by a Telugu film. As per reports, Mohan Lal will be seen as a Prime Minister and Suriya as his Chief Security Officer. Arya will be seen as a terrorist trying to eliminate PM.

This is bringing back memories of Rajasekhar's hit film Angarakshakudu. The film featured Somayajulu as Chief Minister and Rajasekhar played the role of his security officer. Meena starred as a female lead in the film directed by Malayalam director Joshi.
