Will Lakshmi Narayana Do Any Damage to Jansena?

The former CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana is all set to float his new political party in AP on November 26. He has reportedly invited the intellectuals to participate in a crucial meet tomorrow.

Well, there have been reports that LN is being backed by the ruling TDP and pro TDP media houses. Some days ago, reports were rife that the former JD had met a top pro TDP's caste biased news channel's head at Yanam. And recently, LN associated with a media baron who is considered Raja Guruvu for TDP.

It is a known thing that LN belongs to Kapu community and which is the same caste Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan hails from. Obviously, it is buzzed that TDP scripted a ploy to damage Janasena prompting LN to launch a new political party with the sole aim of splitting Janasena's voters.

But then, as per political analysts, none of the new political parties of Andhra got even 4% of vote share post the launch of Megastar Chiranjeevi led PRP.

"PRP got the vote share 18% in Telugu states. If only new Andhra Pradesh is considered, PRP got around 25% vote share," they said.

Independent social awareness agency Lok Saththa was transformed as a political party by Jaya Prakash Narayan. But then, he could get just 3.5% votes in 2009's elections while it confined less than 1% vote share in subsequent general elections.

Former CM N Kiran Kumar Reddy's Jai Samaikyandhra party couldn't even get 0.2% vote share.

De facto, LN is not that great intellectual as Jayaprakash. LN might have been the popular name when YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's scams were busted by him. However, all those issues were forgotten by the people now. LN is a new face for today's youth. Since Pawan Kalyan is aggressively emerging as a powerful leader of AP politics due to his breathtaking speeches, his sacrifice of 100 crores annual income and his party's ideology, Janasena's loyalists may not look for another leader from the same caste of Pawan Kalyan or another leader from other castes. For time being it's being expected LN's vote share would be confined to less than 1%. As such, LN will neither damage Janasena nor YCP in 2019's elections.
