Star Heroine To Marry A Telugu Guy

Raashi Khanna cast a magic spell with her performance in her debut film Oohalu Gusa Gusa Laade. She never looked back and recently entertained romancing Mega Prince Varun Tej in Tholi Prema. She is now getting ready to entertain movie lovers with Srinivasa Kalayanam alongside Nitin which is releasing on Aug 9.

Speaking to scribes she showered her love for Telugu marriage traditions and customs. She even expressed her desire to get married to a Telugu guy. Speaking about the film, Raashi said she knew she was doing a good film the moment she heard the story. “During the climax, tears rolled down from my eyes. Even my father who doesn’t know the language turned emotional,” stated Raashi.

Srinivasa Kalyanam is all about a young couple journey from love towards marriage. Raashi will be seen in the role of Siri, a girl who values traditions and respects customs. She revealed that there are many differences in marriages in North and that of South and added the emotions and feelings are same in the two.

Sharing her thoughts on marriage, she revealed that just like every girl she too has her dreams about marriage. She said when she gets married she will remember this film as she came to know about lot of Telugu marriage rituals. She said in future she dreams her marriage too will happen in the similar way and if possible get married to a Telugu guy.
