What Played Spoilsport With Chi La Sow?

Buzz was extremely high on recently released film Chi La Sow that was directed by Rahul Ravindran and starred Sushanth and Ruhani Sharma in leads. Akkineni family including Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha lent their full support for the film. In fact, Chi La Sow got positive response for its premiere show screened one day prior to its theatrical outing.

Despite these many positives, the film botched to set the cash registers ringing. Many predicted the film would become a sleeper hit like Pelli Choopulu. But, it didn’t happen. What actually played spoilsport with the film?

Apparently, Sushanth’s track record became negative factor for the film. Sushanth didn’t attain a single hit in his entire career and the film was targeted at multiplex audience who are choosing to watch Advi Sesh’s recent sensation Goodachari over Rahul’s directorial.

Analysts opine that, had Rahul or any other notable star played the lead role in Chi La Sow, the response from audience would be different and optimistic.
