Super Star Rajinikanth is currently reeling under string of flops and despite his charisma and tremendous fan following he couldn’t save his previous films, Kochadaiyaan, Lingaa, Kabali and Kaala. His next2.0, sequel for his blockbuster film Robot is getting ready under the direction of Shankar.

Apart from it, Rajinikanth is teaming up with Pizza fame Karthik Subbaraj for his next.  The film’s shoot is progressing at a brisk pace in Dehradun and buzz is Rajini will be seen as a professor in a college. Sources reveal his role will have a dark shades and he will be seen as a mafia don.

Rajini is donning the role of a don for the third consecutive film. He was seen as a don in Kabali and Kaala. Now rumors are spreading that Rajini film will have shades of Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s hit film.

Buzz is the film’s story is similar to Chiranjeevi’s Master in 1996. Rajini will be seen as a jovial professor during day time and will be out to find out criminals who wreaked havoc in his life. Inside talk is Karthik Subbaraj penned story in such a way that Rajini will be seen as a professor in the same college where his sons are studying, without revealing his identity.

Intro song will be completely different from his recent entertainers and will be in the lines of intro songs in Basha and Narasimha. Only Simran will be paired opposite Rajini and Vijay Sethupathi’s villainy will be the highlight.
