Officer No Biz! RGV Own Release?

King Nagarjuna's Officer is carrying least buzz among trade circles. It is a known news that Nagarjuna and senior director Ram Gopal Varma collaborated for the cop drama Officer. Since the director has been running a lean patch of his career for a long time with a string of flops, Officer has got no expectations from movie buffs. 

On the other hand, the film's teasers and trailers have got  negative response from the movie lovers. As a result, no buyers are heard to have approached the makers. It is learnt that RGV, himself, would be releasing the film for Nizam area due to poor pre release business offers. 

Myra Sareen has done female lead of the film while Nagarjuna will be seen as a tough cop who is assigned a task in Mumbai. Ravi Shankar has composed tunes. The film was jointly produced by RGV and Sudheer Chandra on R Company Productions. June 1 is the scheduled date of release.
