I used to love Chiranjeevi's nature very much. He always longed to perform well and tried to achieve something. 

When I told my debut film story to producer Raghava, he asked who is the hero? I told Chiranjeevi will suit for the role. The very next day, he called for a meeting with the industry biggies and made me stand in front of them and questioned why Chiranjeevi should be cast in the film when he has so many heroes keen to work in his banner.

I told him that my story revolves around wife insulting her husband by constantly suspecting him. Female movie lovers get thrilled when Chiranjeevi is insulted rather than your heroes. They get attracted with the feeling as to why this girl is insulting Chiranjeevi.

Audience of all sections like Chiranjeevi and he is not a big star at that time but got recognition due to his talent. If such kind of person is insulted on screen, it will be added advantage for the narrative.

I left it to his decision and told that I always encourage new comers. Chiranjeevi then said that he will do the film only if he likes the story. After hearing the story, he said that his role is not upto the mark. But he loved heroine Poornima, Sangeetha and also loved villain characters. It is Chiranjeevi's greatness to star in the film despite not liking his character but loved the roles of the others."
