Prince Mahesh Babu has been going a lean patch of his career with a string of flops such as 1 - Nenokkadine, Aagadu, Brahmotsavam and Spyder. Among five of his previous ventures, Srimanthudu was the only blockbuster recorded at the ticket windows.

In contrast, Stylish Star Allu Arjun's career has been going great guns with a series of hits and blockbusters for the past couple of years. Moreover, some of his recent venture carried poor word of mouth and below par ratings on day one. Yet, the movies ended up at least with above average results. 

Right now, Mahesh Babu is working with Tollywood's crazy director Koratala Siva and other leading technicians for Bharat Ane Nenu. On the other side, Stylish Star has teamed up with debutant Vakkantham Vamsi for Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India. 

Right now, something similar pre release business numbers are being recorded for BAN and NPS which indicated Allu Arjun's edge over Mahesh Babu in current scenario. On the other hand, netizens are indulging in unhealthy discussions with heated arguments in social media about the ranges of stars. 

Considering ebbs and flows, Mahesh needs to strike back with BAN as he bears more responsibility on delivering a hit to erase the nightmares recent flop projects. Allu Arjun, on the other hand, should ensure NPS would create records not only in pre biz but also at the box office too.
