Kangana Blames Producers

Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut currently busy shooting for historical entertainer Manikarnika-The Queen of Jhansi under the direction of Krish is unhappy with the trend of stories and scripts. When asked whether anyone will see historical entertainers and biopics, she came with a stunner.

'Who said people don't watch? They watched the biopics on Mikha Singh, Mary Kom and they got good collections at the box office. Then Iam sure people definitely watch films on Maharana Pratap, Rani Lakshmi Bai, Chatrapati Sivaji.'

Kangana then trained her guns on the producers and directors saying, these filmmakers who shell out huge bucks for films like Living Room 3, Bed Room 4, will run away at the thought of historical films. I get angry when they say who will watch such films even if they make.

People say freedom of creative thinkers are getting curbed. I question what progress they made in 100 years of Indian cinema except for objectifying women like sex toys and glorifying eve teasing. This shows they are wasting their creative freedom,' Kangana expressed the anger.
