Brand PVP is considered prestigious and an encouragement for innovative thoughts using new age technology giving chance to many fresh talents. However, PVP Cinema lost huge money in recent times with bad script selection, lack of control on production cost except a well handled ‘Kshanam’ and breakeven ‘Oopiri.’

PVP’s last outing ‘Kaashmora’ released in Tamil, Telugu simultaneously is reportedly a profit making project. Going into further details, PVP Cinema hasn’t produced ‘Kaashmora.’ They have just arranged Rs. 25 Crores finances to actual producers SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures.

During the final financial settlements, Rs. 15 Crores is paid pack by Dream Warrior Pictures to Prasad V Potluri added with interest while the rest of Rs. 10 Crores are adjusted in the form of Telugu business. Abhishek Pictures acquired ‘Kaashmora’ Nizam rights at whopping price deposited directly into PVP accounts while the rest of Telugu business is shared between PVP and Dream Warrior Pictures. All in all, Prasad V Potluri is likely to pocket at least 7 to 10 Crores (including the interest) in the name of ‘Kaashmora.’ It's a pretty good deal indeed.
