Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' holds the first position  among the top grossers of first day shares in AP and Telangana with Rs.21+ crores share collections. Having collected close to Rs.21 crores share, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' threw a huge challenge to 'Baahubali' indicating the charisma at the box office.

And now, the trend of adding share guarantees (SGs) and minimum guarantees (MGs) on the first day itself, was started for Big Films. "Had Sardaar got SGs and MGs added on the first day itself, the movie's first day shares would have been hiked upto Rs.26 crores," say the trade sources.

Movie lovers are now speculating that upcoming big filmmakers may also prefer SGs and MGs to be added on the first day's collections of their movies in lieu of first week's collections. This could not be fair on part of producers of films. Yet, they may opt for any strategy to get their films promoted well.
