Dasari Anguish on SSR's Padma Sri?

Darshakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao is on fire. He has come down heavily on the union government for giving away prestigious awards to undeserved personalities. Dasari has felicitated legendary heroine Jamuna and senior character artist Kaikala Satyanarayana on behalf of 'Movie Artists association' today.

Speaking on this occasion, Dasari has expressed his anguish on government's awards. "Padma Sri awards are being given away to undeserved people. Awards are announced only to those who indulge in lobbying. What sin has been committed by the actors like Kaikala Satyanarayana for denying awards to them? Senior artists, who once ruled the roost of their careers, are needed to be offered a helping hand from Tollywood's film fraternity," says Dasari. 

Dasari appeared to have indirectly targeted Rajamouli who had received Padma Sri award recently. It is a known news that when Rajamouli was conferred Padma award by the Government of India, here and there, some criticisms were heard about senior directors like K Raghavendra Rao and Dasari were sidelined for consideration of awards.
