Pawan Kalyan’s commercial potentiality doesn’t need any new introductions because his disastrous films rake as much as super hits of other star heroes films. Such is the illustrious show of Power Star at Telugu Box Office re-enacted by ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ few weeks back. This Bobby directorial and produced by Sharat Marar is considered as a loss making venture for buyers. In turn, there were wide spread rumors on Pawan Kalyan’s remuneration too.

Apparently, this is the new version heard in film circles. Pawan although signed ‘Sardaar’ on production sharing and profit sharing basis without taking any remuneration, inner reports say he hasn’t got anything more than Rs.8 Crores after the closure of final account books. Had Pawan signed any film only on pure remuneration factor, he could safely take home Rs.12 to 15 Crores and that’s not the case with ‘Sardaar.’

In fact, Pawan initiated the script and story idea or say pre production work for ‘Sardaar.’ He wanted to produce the movie on Pawan Kalyan Creative Works at own risk. Sharat Marar too was his production partner and the rest is very well known to all of us. Irrespective of ‘Sardaar’ being sold to EROS for an undisclosed heavy price, Pawan falling short on numbers literally means, production cost escalated exponentially. Whom to blame on? Again it could be Pawan Kalyan. Can we precisely call this a sacrifice or a suicidal solecism committed by self?
