Balakrishna's 100th film is being treated as one of the prestigious movies of Tollywood. The names of many directors have been connected to Balayya's 100th film. Recently, it was heard Creative director Krishna Vamsi would be helming Balakrishna's 100th movie and the film was titled as 'Rythu'. Fans were elated hearing the details of the project.

But then, the latest we are hearing is that Balakrishna has given his nod to the passionate filmmaker Krish for a historical entertainer titled 'Gouthami Putra Shatakarni'. Given Balakrishna's personal track record and Tollywood's track record historical movies cannot be termed as safe bets No historical movie for the past few decades scored a resounding hit in Tollywood. Balakrishna has also no big hits in other genres like mythological and devotional films. Considering all these odds, 'Gouthami Putra Shatakarni' is an experiment film and the success of this high budgeted movie with Balakrishna as a hero is highly doubtful at the moment. However, there are many optimists, who still believe that movie is not at all a 'historical' blunder of Balakrishna but it creates real history of Tollywood.
