Vamsi Pydipally is one of the most successful young directors of Tollywood. He made his debut with average venture 'Munna'. However, the director scored a decent hit 'Brindavanam' with Young Tiger NTR and a super hit 'Yevadu' with Mega Power Star Ram Charan. 

And now, the director is looking forward for a hat-trick with his ongoing movie 'Oopiri'. King Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannah are doing the lead roles of the film. The story line of the movie has been taken from Hollywood's hit film 'The Intouchables'.

Meanwhile, none of the projects of Akhil has been launched post the release of his debut film 'Akhil'. Buzz is that Vamsi Pydipally is likely to wield megaphone for Akhil's next. If at all the news is proved right, Vamsi Pydipally will get a rare opportunity directing two back to back films with two generations of Akkineni heroes. Nonetheless, an official announcement is awaited.
