Aarthi made her debut with Victory Venkatesh's 'Nuvvu Naaku Nachchav'. The movie scored a blockbuster at the box office. Later, she played one of the female leads of Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Indra'. The movie stood as an industry hit breaking all the previous collections and run records of Tollywood. 

Aarthi's 'Nuvvuleka Nenu Lenu', 'Vasantham', 'Nenunnanu', 'Chatrapathi'( item song), 'Sankranthi', 'Andalaramudu' and 'Gorintaku' scored hits and super hits. Her 'Allari Ramudu', 'Adavi Ramudu', 'Nee Sneham', 'Veede' etc. stood as average grossers at the ticket windows. What more interesting aspect is that Aarthi got all these achievements in a span of just seven years between 2001 and 2008.
