Hero Vikram starrer 'I hit the screens on January 14 across the globe in maximum number of screens. The movie carried above average to positive reports at the end of its morning shows. Vikram's amazing performance, his transformation from body builder getup to hunchbacked and disfigured personality were just jaw dropping. Having seen his muscular look in some frames and lean look in other frames, it can be understood that only Vikram can do such tough tasks. AR Rehaman's background score was superb. Amy Jackson set the silver screen on fire as an ultra modern girl, who was seen as a model. PC Sriram's cinematography is worth mentioned. China's exotic locales were well captured by him. Makeup and graphics departments have done it great. And finally, underlying message, " Beauty is not in the face, it is a light in the heart", was well conceived by the director Shankar in his usual style.

However, there are many flaws in the movie to be mentioned. As the run time exceeds to 189 minutes, there were good number of dragged scenes both in the first half as well as in the second half and they can be easily chopped off. Unlike most other Shankar's films, story is predictable one. Vikram is seen in disfigured in the entire second half. Moreover, more of such characters are also seen in the second half. It remains to be seen how well the audiences receive it. Anyways, it's definitely a visual extravaganza and a feast to those audiences who like to watch movies with interesting and innovative concepts.
