Telangana Shakunthala Is No More

Noted character actress Telangana Shakunthala breathed her last due to cardiac arrest in the late hours of mid night on 13th June in her residence at Kompalli. Straightaway, she was rushed to a private hospital after she had got heart stroke. However, the doctors declared her dead due to heart stroke. Shakunthala was 63 and she was survived by two children.

Telangana Shakunthala played various kinds of roles in movies such as lady villain, character artist and comedian. She made her debut with 'Maabhoomi'( 1981). She was last seen in Mohan Babu's 'Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda'. She acted in more than 70 films. She played important characters in movies such as 'Gulabi', 'Evadi Gola Vaadidhi', 'Okkadu', 'Nuvvu Nenu', 'Gangothri', 'Lakshmi'. Cinejosh pays heartfelt condolences to the members of the family of Telangana Shakunthala. May her soul rest in peace.
