AP Tourism to Fail Due to No Chiru's Ministry?

The tourism in India is one such industry which provides empowerment to 53 millions of people. The former union minister for tourism, Chiranjeevi launched and implemented many programs for the development of tourism in India and especially, Andhra Pradesh. He launched many programs in AP comparing with other states. Hundreds of crores were incurred for the tourism development in AP state. During his tenure Warangal acquired the status of heritage city. Vizag-Bheemili corridor, Eco-Tourism facilities at Coringa of East Godavari, Nizamabad tourism circuit etc. are some of the prestigious programs taken up by Chiranjeevi.

As the NDA has come to the power at the center, Sripada Yasso Naik has been sworn in as the new tourism minister of India. People of AP and Telangana are now worrying if the development of tourism would be on par with the standards of Chiranjeevi's tenure or not. Apart from agitating for the release of funds for the Polavaram project, Chiranjeevi is likely to fight for the sanction of funds for the completion of tourism projects in AP.
