Kannababu's Blow to Chiranjeevi?

The sitting MLA of Kakinada Rural constituency, Kurasala Kannababu was elected as an MLA through this constituency on behalf of PRP in  2009. He worked as a journalist in a leading newspaper for 18 years. Apart from that, he is said to be very close aide of Chiranjeevi and worked as a PA for Chiranjeevi for some time. It was due to Chiranjeevi's recommendations, the MLA has got huge funds than other MLAs in the district East Godavari. Obviously, the MLA got great reputation by starting and implementing many developmental programs extensively. 

Although many MLAs left the Congress party with the changed political scenario, Kurasala Kannababu was expected to contest on behalf of the Congress party, as a token of gratitude on Chiranjeevi. Shockingly, he left the party recently and is contesting as an independent candidate. Thus Kannababu has also proved himself to be an opportunist.
